I have extensively taught Italian language and culture in higher education. I have taught at the University of Bristol, the University of St Andrews, Monash University, and the University of Dundee. In my career I have devised, coordinated and taught many research-led modules, for example, ‘Contemporary Italian Women Writers’, ‘Fascist Italy’, ‘The Culture of Unified Italy’, ‘Italy on Film’, ‘The Italian City’, ‘Writing lives: Autobiography and Historical Fiction’, and co-taught both School and departmental modules.
